Chicago - A vicious attack by a savage bulldog on a sixteen-year-old girl and a hand-to-hand fight that her brother waged with the beast was one of a series of like occurrences happening in Chicago yesterday... The sixteen-year-old girl victim, who was severely lacerated about the arms and legs is Esther Lahr of 5127 Hutchinson street. The timely intervention of her brother, M.B. Lahr, saved her from more serious injury.
