Jul 06, 1882 Rockford Huge Bulldog Attacks Children

Rockford - A huge bulldog belonging to C. M. Lundberg, who lives on Kishwaukee street, east side, which had heretofore been considered harmless, exhibited most vicious symptoms yesterday afternoon, biting a little girl of Mr. George Witwer very savagely, and also two small sons of Homer Gregory. Officer Chandler was called, and he quieted the dog by dropping three or four bullets into its system.
