Oct 23, 2009 'Precious' the pit bull bit customer's arm, says suit

A woman who claims she was attacked by a pit bull has filed suit against the dog's owners.

In a complaint filed Oct. 20 in Madison County Circuit Court, Pamela A. Moore claims she intended to visit defendant Bluff City Tours, owned by defendants Gregory A. and Patricia D. Gelzinnis, on Aug. 10.

But as Moore was opening the front door of the Godfrey establishment, she was attacked by the Gelzinnis' pit bull named Precious, according to the complaint.

"The pit bull named Precious, without provocation, attacked Plaintiff, biting her in the upper arm, bicep and tricep areas thereby permanently injuring and wounding Plaintiff," the suit states.
