Jan 13, 2012 Man arrested after dog attacks girl



HUTSONVILLE – An Illinois man will appear in court after his dog attacked an 8-year-old girl.

Crawford County police authorities say the pitbull-rottweiler mix belonging to Clinton Woosley, 36, Hutsonville, Ill., attacked Kelcee Lowrance, 8, Hutsonville, Ill Tuesday.

Police say Lowrance was severely injured and was taken to the hospital.

As of Thursday afternoon, Lowrance was recovering from surgery to reattach her right ear and also from work on her right arm.

A Free Will Donation Soup Supper Benefit for Kelcee Lowrance has been planned for Thursday, January 26 from 4pm to 8pm at Hutsonville Elementary School.
