Odell — A Livingston County Sheriff’s Police officer was bitten Saturday by a pit bull in Odell as he and another officer attempted to take the dogs back to their owner’s residence.

“The two officers arrived in Odell, located the dogs and were attempting to walk the dogs back to their owner’s home,” said Glowacki. “It was as this was happening that one dog jumped up and bit an officer on the arm. Then both dogs began charging the second officer.”
Glowacki said the second officer then fired his duty weapon at the dogs.
